apekon.com is the personal website and portfolio of Andreas Zorpidis, based in Athens, Greece. Apekon is his personal brand, not a company, and in these terms “Apekon” refers to Andreas Zorpidis. Apekon can be reached at hi@apekon.com. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. What the website is for

The website presents Apekon’s work, experience, products and research. Nothing on it is an offer to sell a product or service, and nothing can be bought through it. Any work agreed with Apekon would be covered by a separate written agreement.

3. Experience and organizations mentioned

The organizations named on this website are mentioned only to describe experience Andreas Zorpidis gained through his employment, freelance, research and academic roles, including work carried out as an employee of other companies. Their mention does not mean that they are clients of Apekon or that they endorse Andreas Zorpidis, Apekon or its products. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. Products and research

Apekon Studio, tamplo.io and WriterSpec are presented as in development, in beta or as research. Their descriptions are for information only: features, availability and status may change, and nothing on this website is a promise that a product will be released or will work in a particular way. tamplo.io has its own website and terms.

5. Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website, including its text, design, images, code, the Apekon name and the Apekon emblem, belongs to Andreas Zorpidis. You may view and share links to it, but you may not copy, modify or reuse it for commercial purposes without written permission from Andreas Zorpidis. Third-party fonts, music and software used on the website remain the property of their owners and are used under their licenses.

6. Using the website

Please do not misuse the website, for example by trying to gain unauthorized access to it, interfering with how it works, or using it to break any law.

The music player’s optional microphone and “play your own song” features are for your own enjoyment of the website’s visuals. They run only in your browser, and nothing is recorded, uploaded or shared (see the Privacy Policy). Only play songs you have the right to listen to.

7. Links to other websites

The website links to other websites, such as tamplo.io and social networks. Apekon does not control them and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. Liability

Apekon takes care to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, and Apekon cannot guarantee that it will always be complete, up to date or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, Apekon is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Athens, Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
